Make the Most of Your Tour to Machu Picchu via the Santa Teresa Route
While this is a more affordable alternative compared to the train journey, it requires more planning and willingness to walk. Booking in advance ensures availability in accommodations and transportation. Additionally, for those who wish to relax after the trip, an optional visit to the Cocalmayo hot springs in Santa Teresa can be an excellent way to end the experience before returning to Cusco.
